St. James Child Development Center opened it's doors on March 22, 1993. The Center is operated through the Catholic Church of St. James under the direction of Ann Parks, director and Michele Wolfe, assistant director.The staff of St. James CDC is certified in CPR and First Aide yearly and attends numerous in-service workshops and conferences. We encourage social, emotional, physical development through a variety of curriculum and hands-on activities. St James Child Development Center provides a healthy, safe, comfortable, Christian, and enjoyable environment for children to grow and learn.

for children from six weeks of age through age 5. We offer an after school program for school-age children. Pick-up is provided from Waccamaw Elementary , South Conway Elementary , and Conway Elementary Schools. A full-time program is offered for this age in the summer months and on school closings.
